These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a public offer and set out the conditions for using trendino.app and the Trendino service (the “Service”) between the Service administration (“we”, “us”) and you, the user.
1. Scope
1.1. We give you access to the Service and its features on the conditions set out in these Terms.
1.2. By using the Service — signing in, uploading a video or paying for videos — you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms.
1.3. These Terms are a legally binding document.
2. What the Service does
2.1. The Service edits vertical videos with AI: you upload a video up to 5 minutes long and up to 1 GB with an audio track and pick a style, and the Service transcribes the speech, cuts pauses and retakes (if you choose so), adds captions and graphics and builds a finished MP4 video.
2.2. One processing run of one video — an edit, captions only, a rebuild in another style or a revision — is called a “video” and uses one video from your balance. If you order several variations of one recording, each variation is a separate video.
2.3. Videos are sold one by one or in AIR, PLUS and PRO packs. What each pack includes and costs is shown on the Pricing page. Revisions by text and voice and your own photos come with PLUS and PRO, three variations of one recording come with PRO. Videos bought one by one get the features of the largest active pack you have paid for or received with a gift code. Unused videos stay valid for 3 months from payment, videos from a gift code for the period stated in the code; a pack’s features last as long as its videos. When the period ends, unused videos expire; half of what is left can come back to your balance under 3.14.
2.4. Processing is automatic and runs in queue order; the time estimate on the site is approximate. Scene layout, graphics, translation and text styling are done by a language model, so we do not guarantee that transcription, translation and editing are error-free: check the result before you post it.
2.5. The source video and photos are kept for no longer than 72 hours after the video is built, the finished video for 14 days. The Service may re-encode 4K and HDR video into a working copy before editing, with no visible loss of quality, and delete the source; rebuilds and revisions then use the copy, and the same period applies to it. If the server runs low on space, the sources of the oldest videos are deleted sooner. Once the source is deleted, rebuilds and revisions are no longer available. Saving the finished video to your device is up to you.
2.6. We may change the list of features without prior notice. Changes never reduce the number of videos you have already paid for.
2.7. The Service is provided online on the Site; nothing is shipped. Videos are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed. A video is built automatically once you start it, and the Site shows the estimated build time before you start; the finished video is available to watch and download in your workspace on the Site.
2.8. You can delete your account in your profile. Your videos and unused balance are deleted with it; you can get money back for unused videos under 3.4 before deleting.
2.9. The Studio is a section of your account where a language model, at your request, comes up with video ideas, writes scripts and scores them (an attention curve), strengthens a script’s weak spot and reviews your finished videos. Each action uses units of its own kind from your balance — ideas, scripts or video reviews, the number is shown on the action’s button; if no answer comes because of a Service error, what was used goes back to your balance automatically. The facts you save in the Studio memory are taken into account in answers while memory is on; you can see, change and delete them in the Studio. The Studio’s scores and advice are an AI forecast from the text, not a promise of results. The teleprompter in your account is free: it shows text on the screen while you record a video with your device’s camera.
2.10. AI images are pictures the Service draws from what the speech means and puts into the video if you turn them on before the build. They are reserved on your balance when the build starts, and only those that made it into the finished video are used. Variations of one recording are built without AI images.
2.11. “Clips + voiceover” is a mode in which the Service makes a video from your clips without your speech: it writes a text from what is in the clips and voices it with a synthetic voice, or cuts the clips to a voice you recorded yourself. Such a video uses one video from your balance. The text and the AI voice are produced by a model: you check them before publishing.
2.12. When you sign up, one free video is added to your balance; it stays valid for 3 months. You can use it in the “Just captions” and “Edit with graphics and captions” modes; “Clips + voiceover” and “3 variations” don’t use the free video — they need other videos on your balance. The free video is given once per sign-in — Telegram, Google or Yandex: an account created again with the same sign-in does not get it. An expired free video does not carry over (clause 3.14). The free video cannot be exchanged for money and is not included in refunds.
3. Payment and refunds
3.1. Payments are processed by the UnitPay payment service (unitpay.money): Visa, Mastercard and Mir bank cards, the Faster Payments System and other methods UnitPay shows on its payment page. The price shown on the site at the moment of payment is final and includes all taxes. Payments are charged in US dollars on the English and Uzbek versions of the site (the Uzbek version also shows an approximate price in so‘m) and in Russian rubles on the Russian version; if your card is in another currency, the bank that issued it converts the amount at its own rate.
3.2. How to pay: sign in, choose a pack or a number of videos on the Pricing page and press “Choose” or “Buy”, enter an email address for the receipt, press “Go to payment” and pay for the order on the UnitPay page. Videos are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed, and the receipt is sent to that address. The order price is fixed when you go to payment.
3.3. If a video fails to build because of a Service error, or you cancel it before it is ready, it goes back to your balance automatically. If a video is rejected at the check (longer than 5 minutes, no sound, an unreadable file, speech in an unsupported language), nothing is charged.
3.4. You can get your money back for unused videos while they are valid. The refund equals the amount you paid for the order, including any discount, multiplied by the share of the order’s videos you haven’t used, rounded down to whole rubles for payments in rubles and to the cent for payments in dollars. Videos are spent starting with those that expire first; among videos with the same expiry, paid ones go before bonus ones. If the Service was unavailable or had substantial defects through our fault, the affected videos are refunded in full.
3.5. Send refund requests to starostin.media@gmail.com from the email used at checkout, with the order number or the date and amount of the payment. Refunds are made within 10 days to the original payment method through UnitPay; how soon the money reaches your card depends on your bank.
3.6. If you were charged twice for one order, the extra payment is refunded in full. If you were charged but the videos were not added, send the order number or the date and amount of the payment to the same address: we check the payment in UnitPay and add the videos or refund the money within 10 days.
3.7. Payment takes place on the secure page of the UnitPay payment service. Card details travel over an encrypted connection and are processed under the PCI DSS security standard; the Site never receives or stores them. Your bank may ask for a 3-D Secure code to confirm the payment.
3.8. You enter a gift code in your profile. It adds the number of videos stated in the code to your balance and may unlock the features of a pack. Videos from a code stay valid for the period set when the code was issued — 3 months from activation by default; the period is shown on activation. Each code can be activated once. Videos from a gift code cannot be exchanged for money; a code bought on a marketplace can be returned under that marketplace’s rules before it is activated.
3.9. A promo code gives a discount or bonus videos on your next payment. Its terms are fixed when you enter it in your profile and apply to your next payment if it meets the code’s conditions (for example, the pack size) and the code has not expired. One code applies to one payment: a newly entered code replaces the previous one.
3.10. Invite a friend. Every user has a personal invite link in their profile. A new user who follows the link and signs up within 60 days, or enters the invite code before their first payment, gets a bonus on their first purchase; the person who invited them gets bonus videos once the new user pays. The bonus sizes and conditions are shown in the profile and are fixed when the invited user signs up. The inviter’s bonus becomes available after the period shown in the profile and is capped per month. Inviting yourself, creating several accounts or otherwise abusing invites is not allowed: we may cancel bonuses received this way.
3.11. Bonus videos from promo codes and invites cannot be exchanged for money and are not included in refunds. If an order is refunded, the bonus videos credited for it, including the inviter’s, are withdrawn.
3.12. The Studio’s scripts, video reviews and ideas and AI images (add-on units) come with the “Studio and AI images” add-on, which you can add to a PLUS or PRO pack at checkout, or are granted by us. What the add-on includes is shown on the Pricing page. They stay valid for the same period as the order’s videos.
3.13. When an order with the add-on is refunded, the amount paid is split between videos and add-on units in proportion to their prices on the Site, with the add-on price split equally between scripts, video reviews, ideas and AI images. You get back the part that falls on the unused units of each kind, rounded down as in 3.4.
3.14. Carry-over. If unused videos or add-on units expire and you paid for a new order after they were credited and no later than 30 days after they expired, half of the expired remainder of each kind, rounded up, comes back to your balance — right after the payment or, if you paid before they expired, when they expire. Carried-over units stay valid for the same period as the new order’s videos, cannot be exchanged for money and are not included in refunds; if the order that brought the carry-over is refunded, they are withdrawn. 5 days before the period ends, we remind you about the remainder by email if you have given us your address.
4. Rules of use
4.1. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and within the law.
4.2. You confirm that you have the rights to the videos and photos you upload, and that the people in them agree to their processing and publication.
4.3. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorized access to information in the Service;
- use the Service to spread malware, spam or other illegal content;
- upload videos or photos that break the law or infringe the rights of others, or that contain violence, pornography or extremist content;
- interfere with the Service, or change its code or functionality;
- infringe the rights of third parties while using the Service.
4.4. We may delete a video that breaks these rules and restrict or terminate your access without refunding videos already used.
5. Rights to your videos
5.1. You keep all rights to the videos you upload and to the finished videos.
5.2. We use your video only to build the finished video: we do not publish it, share it with anyone other than the parties listed in the Privacy Policy, or use it to train AI models.
6. Liability
6.1. The Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses you incur by using the Service, including errors, interruptions and data loss, or for lost profits and the consequences of publishing a video.
6.2. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your most recent pack. This limit does not apply to consumers where the law forbids it.
6.3. You are fully responsible for your actions in the Service and for the materials you upload.
7. Personal data
7.1. We keep the personal data you share while using the Service confidential.
7.2. How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
7.3. We send service emails — email address confirmation, payment, refund and bonus notices, reminders that videos are about to expire — to the address you provide. News and offers go only to users who confirmed their address and turned on the newsletter in their profile; you can unsubscribe with the link in every such email or in your profile.
8. Term and changes
8.1. These Terms take effect when you accept them and remain in force indefinitely.
8.2. We may change these Terms. The new version is published on this page and takes effect on publication without changing the terms of videos already paid for. If you keep using the Service after the change, you accept the new version.
9. Disputes
9.1. We settle disputes by negotiation first. Send a claim to starostin.media@gmail.com; we review it within 10 days.
9.2. If a dispute is not settled, it is resolved under the laws of the Russian Federation. Consumers may go to court at their place of residence.
10. Other terms
10.1. Anything not covered by these Terms is governed by the applicable law.
10.2. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remain in force.
